"I've been singing longer than I can remember. I've always been singing, and there's always been music in my family. I've always sang with my dad, or I sang with my mom in church. So, it's always been a part of my life."

Matt's favorite childhood memory:
"Being 4 years old and winning first prize in a talent show. The first prize was a radio, and I traded it in for second prize which was a pizza, because I was hungry."

Matt has been singing since the age of 2! That's no surprise considering musical talent runs in his family! Matt's dad is recording artist Gary Morris and Matt has gone on the road performing with him over the summer months. Matt hopes to follow in his father's footsteps but, he wants to write his "own kind" of music! Matt loves being on the Mickey Mouse Club and says he definitely sees college in his future. He also likes to write and has written a collection of short stories and poems.
